Genetic Biasedness
It's a rather tendentious stand, but I wholeheartedly believe it's true.
Genetics play a large part, and sometimes, effort is mitigated largely which results in disappointments aplenty. Haiz, that's why I hate running. Sad, definitely, but what can I do about it? The simplest answer would be to run. Sometimes, people might have put in lesser effort and bear more fruit, but is that going to deter us? I hope not, but it would indefinitely affect you somehow. Idiosyncrasies yay
I had my first lesson of JC today, supposedly.
Pseudo-lecture might be more apt, as the syllabus is repeated. Holidays over, must activate mugging mode. Don't want to disappoint any teachers or make my friends think I'm some sloth. The anime in this season kind of meh :x I think I'll set up a calender to indicate what shows I'm watching in a week. As of yet, I don't really think that Dragon Crisis or Zombie-kun is gonna be a big hit with me. Mitsudomoe is kind of win. Gachi Rangers win. Freezing is somewhat okay, nudity censored with random flying pieces of cloth. Normal. I gave up on Beelzebub. Gonna try to tahan Rainbow Rio. Random plot if you ask me. Fractale, Onni Chan are somewhat okay. I have high expectations for Hourou Musuko. Unique animation, and a host of popular seiyuu. Go go, don't disappoint. On the other hand, Star Driver and Hidamari Sketch are seriously awesome. Love Hidamari Sketch. Star Driver is getting all serious now. Scary. Re-read negima, medaka box and finished nyotai-ka. Wrote this in a hurry, no time for re-reading to correct and grammatical errors. I think right, going to chinese class might not be as beneficial as one might think. Because, in class, the Scheme of Work would be very exam-focused. The entire program would be dedicated to ensuring that the students would be able to sit for the exams and do well. However, in the end, you might not learn the basic chinese words that you seek to learn. Like the question you gave me in the bus yesterday, in class, I dun think they would actually teach you what is say post office in Chinese. However, I think that what you say about Chinese being able to bolster your "value" in the future has some shred of truth in it. The world is globalising, if we are going to say that China people are learning English, then why not say that the US people or perhaps the Whites in general are seeking Chinese proficiency. Furthermore, China's population is over the top, with a singular entitiy being able to rival that of the West in the near future. So right, I think that what yongxiang said is better. Instead of say maybe attending class, just speak more Chinese or read more Chinese. I guess the Chinese Newspaper would help. Because inside, they would provide and enrich you with a wider set of vocab than let's say in class. As said, classes are meant for exam-purposes. The newspaper on the other hand is a mirror of the world, it would surely have more Chinese characters which are of relevance to the real world and give you a deeper insight of the world in the form of Chinese charavters. That said, attending Chinese classes does not have any drawbacks, except that you trade away time. Time can be spent on many things, I'm not sure if you would like to spend your free time on Chinese. Maybe when you are totally devoid of work or fill like a change of atmosphere is suitable, then go attend Chinese classes. Eventually, your A Level results are absolute, you can only take them once, barring any re-examinations. However, Chinese can be practised any time, and instead of you accommodating the Chinese lessons, you should use your time freely without inhibation or a fixed lesson schedule. Okay, I recently completed 2x2=shinobuden, medaka box and witchblade.
Medaka box is quite addictive. I think the shonen genre can be epitomised with all the fighting, though they don't go as excessive like let's say the mainstream bleach/naruto fights where you fight, you grow more power due to love/hate blah and the bullcrap. However, the real candy is probably the charade of villains the show introduces. Kuawagawa is seriously creepy, nihilistic little freak, with a permanent smile etched on his face, reminds me of joker.  Best villain. 2x2=shinobuden is really random, but would definitely garner some LOLs and random laughter. I'm not sure, if you are into anime which MUST have a fast-paced plot where tension is supposedly high, then this anime is bleh. If you are into Lucky Star-ish anime, treat. Witchblade is really good. My linguistic skills fail me here. Really exceeded expectations. I always though that from the first episode I walked into a "boob-mine", though I was really wrong. The pacing is slow, but I like that sort of thing as it allows for an easier more relaxing watching pace. I might just ragequit on beelzebub anime, seeing the stoopid animation. I don't know.
