Sometimes you just one to laze around and be unproductive. I finally understand what it means to dislike your work. But though you dislike it, you have an obligation to come to work on time. An obligation to put in your due diligence to serve thy country. I just find it pretty disappointing when people report to work late, only to laugh over it. Just be thankful your boss is nice. Hah, I'm a little drunk. Hmm, looking forward to meeting every one of you guys soon. It's times like this where I have second thoughts of putting things behind me. The time will eventually come huh. You know balancing army life with lifting takes a lot out of you. Wake up 0600 every day, drag yourself out of bed. Reach work at 0800. Morning run, don't slow down. You can't slow down. Complete run, 0830. Work, Lunch, Work. 1700. Home, 1820. Dinner. 1900, gym. Lift. First set felt like death. RPE 9. Don't drop the weight. Grind grind grind. You missed a rep. Grind grind grind. You're the only motherfucker in the air-conditioned gym who is sweating. Grind grind grind through the early night. The end is near. Accessory work, bodybuilding work. Lactic acid. Reach home. 2100. Prepare meals for the next day. 2130. Rest. Sleep. Sometimes you wonder if you'll keep going. People ask you, why bother trying. I don't reply. Not because I'm cool or anything.
